About us
Tidy Street Store opened in 2016 as a small neighbourhood shop in Brighton's vibrant North Laine. Our aim was to showcase craftsmanship from independent makers around the world. Inspired by the general stores of the US, where you could buy a bottle of local olive oil alongside a pair of denim jeans. We have always championed independent makers and brands, and continue to showcase emerging designers. Our commitment to craft has seen us curate everything from scarves by one of Spain’s oldest mohair manufacturers, to workwear from Vetra, the French maker of chore jackets since 1927. These sit alongside more established fashion brands, as well as our own TSS label. In 2026 we closed the doors to our Brighton store and moved online, where we continue to curate unique pieces from independent brands.
