About us

We are Tidy Street Store, a curated shop located in Brighton’s vibrant North Laine, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship from independent makers across the globe. We opened Tidy Street Store in 2016, inspired by the general stores of the US, where you could buy a bottle of local olive oil next to a pair of denim jeans. We have always tried to champion small and independent makers and brands, and continue to showcase emerging designers. A focus on craft has seen us stock scarves from one of Spain's oldest mohair manufacturers alongside workwear from Vetra, who have been manufacturing French chore jackets since 1927, and even supplied the French resistance. You will find ceramics and a debut clothing collection from our members of staff, alongside more established clothing brands including Soeur, Sunray and Milena Silvano.
